Services

How we work with your school.

There are two sides to what we do. We coach your people and we help your own staff learn to coach, so it stays once we have gone. Time outdoors is where a lot of it comes to life. Take one piece or the whole thing and we will write a proposal around your school before anything is agreed.

Coaching

Coaching for your people.

For the staff who hold a school together and for the young people growing up inside it. We work one to one, with whole teams and in supervision.

01Leaders and founders

Leadership and executive coaching

Time to think, for the people who rarely get any. Coached one to one by someone who has sat in the chair.

  • Honest, confidential sessions, just the two of you
  • Your real decisions and pressures, worked through together
  • A coach who has led a school, not only read about it

04Students and young people

Coaching for students

Coaching young people through the hard parts, so they learn to keep going when it would be easier to stop.

  • Coaching through real challenge, on expedition and back in school
  • The kind of self belief that shows up in a university interview
  • Woven into your pastoral or Award programme

Coach development

Helping your school learn to coach.

This is the part that lasts. We help your own staff learn to coach and stay alongside them while it settles, so the change belongs to your school rather than to us.

05Teaching and leadership

Coach training for your staff

We teach your teachers and leaders to coach, so the skill stays in the building.

  • Coaching skills for teachers and leaders
  • Plenty of real practice, not a day of slides
  • A check in once they have used it for a while
  • Grounded in a recognised coaching framework

06Senior leadership

Coaching culture consultation

Helping coaching become simply how things are done here, rather than another thing on the calendar.

  • Where coaching fits your day and your routines
  • How your leaders can model it, quietly
  • A realistic plan and a way to see it working

07Whole staff

Leadership and communication workshops

Practical sessions your staff can use the next morning, with each other and with families.

  • Difficult conversations, handled with care
  • Meetings that go somewhere
  • Talking well across a community of many cultures

The same habits your staff are learning, shaped for young people.

  • Coaching and self belief, pitched at the right age
  • Built into your pastoral or Award programme
  • So students and staff are speaking the same language

Time outdoors

Where it all gets tested.

The hills are where the talking stops and the character shows. We use the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and expeditions as the place leadership and coaching meet real weather and real tiredness. It is the part of our work no one else in coaching can offer. We design and quality check every programme and trusted partners handle the logistics on the ground.

  • Outdoor and Award programmes built around your school
  • Expeditions shaped by what you want students to take from them
  • Evidence your board and inspectors will trust

Ways to begin

Somewhere to start.

Most schools begin in one of three ways. None of them is a fixed package and every proposal is written around your school, not ours.

Partnership

Coaching woven through the whole school and kept up.

  • Coaching across staff and year groups
  • Coaching taught to students too
  • KHDA aligned reporting and ongoing supervision
  • For school groups and education authorities
Request a proposal

Every piece of work is built around your school. You will always see a written proposal, with clear scope and cost, before anything is agreed. We talk first and price after.

For groups and authorities

Work that sits above one school.

Some of what we do reaches further than a single staffroom. We partner with school groups and education authorities, including KHDA aligned projects, to lift the standard of coaching and outdoor learning across the region. Shared frameworks, shared measures and the writing and speaking that give a whole system something to gather around.

Private practice

Coaching just for you.

Away from the schools work, Krista keeps a small private practice for leaders, founders and educators who want a thinking partner of their own. Executive and supervision coaching, held to the same standard as everything else, at whatever pace and privacy suits you.

Questions

Before you book a call.

Do you train our staff to coach or only coach them yourselves?

Both. Teaching your own people to coach is the part we care about most. Coaching them helps right now. Passing on the skill is what leaves a coaching culture behind once we have gone.

What do you actually mean by a coaching culture?

It is when coaching stops being a workshop and just becomes how people talk to each other. Leaders ask a bit more than they tell, staff look out for one another and students pick up the same habits. That is what we help you grow.

Is your coaching accredited?

Yes. Krista is accredited with the ICF and the ILM, so the coaching meets recognised professional standards and anything we teach your staff is built on the same foundation.

How does pricing work?

Every piece of work is bespoke and we scope it after a first conversation, so you only pay for what your school actually needs. You always see a written proposal, with clear scope and cost, before anything is agreed.

Do you run the expeditions yourselves?

We design and quality check the programme and trusted delivery partners run the logistics in the field. You get our thinking and their operational strength and neither of us is carrying the risk alone.

Do you work with individuals as well as schools?

Yes. Alongside the schools work there is a small private practice for one to one executive and supervision coaching, for leaders and educators who want a thinking partner of their own.

How do we start?

With a conversation about your school and the change you are hoping for, not a quote. Book a conversation and we will take it from there.
